The Reserva Caballo de Oro and Finca los Altos conquer female palates in Germany, while our Organic Red Club Capitán triumphs in France. 

Concours International des Vins Biologiques et en conversion (Amphore)

The 26th edition of the Concours International des Vins Biologiques et en conversion (Amphore) is one of the most outstanding organic wine competitions in France (including biodynamic or natural method). That is why it has been an honor to receive the recognition of the silver medal for our Organic Club Capitán by nearly 200 experts, wine professionals and experienced amateurs, who each year participate in this competition, which is renowned for its reliability. In addition, this contest is a professional showcase of organic viticulture and has become a communication tool for the organic trend. In this way, this practice is promoted and valued in the entire international market.

Our red Organic Club Capitán has already been valued in other competitions, and now it has once again triumphed at the Concours International des Vins Biologiques et en conversion, after a rigorous and impartial selection, carried out by expert sommeliers, winemakers, professionals and amateurs.

Women’s International Trophy

On the other hand, the Women’s International Trophy Wine and Spirits Contest has awarded with two gold medals our Caballo de Oro Reserva and Finca los Altos Reserva. Both have stood out in the evaluations for the quality of their taste and the intensity of smell, being above the average scores in both concepts.

The organization of this event is the work of ARMONIA, a Franco-German group specialized in organizing wine, beer and spirits competitions. After a successful first edition in 2021, the contest continues to grow, exceeding 1,000 samples received from more than 30 different countries. Held in the German city of Mainz, it presents a unique format with great impact, as it is made up of a jury composed entirely of women. A team of experts including sommeliers, oenologists and winemakers, professionals in the sector, who blindly tasted each wine using a table based on the sensory analysis criteria of the OIV (International Organization of Vine and Wine).

With the aim of being as demanding and exclusive as possible, the contest only awards a third of the samples presented, so it is a great pride to have had two wines awarded with the highest distinction.
