Raíces Gran Reserva 2010 got gold medal and Caballero Medieval Gran Reserva 2010 bronze medal, selected by Chinese experts in the still wines category.
These two wines have participated this time at the China Wines & Spirits Awards 2016 (CWSA 2016), the biggest and most presti
gious wine and spirits competition in China, the CWSA. For several years the Chinese wine market has stood as the largest in the world, and thanks to a booming middle class along with innovations and promotions from large-sca le online sellers such as Alibaba.
The news about these new awards concur with the start of the harvest season and a busy Fernando Castro Alcarazo, current general manager of the cellar, briefly commented about the victories in CWSA 2016: “We are honored. Many of the most acclaimed wineries from around the globe compete each year, and it is exciting to see that our products can stand with the best in the world.
